Glass Microfluidics (Wafer-scale)

Microbritt has many enquires fo us to produce microfluidics at the wafer-scale in glass and other materials. See an example here of our 200 micron wide, 200 micron deep, channels in glass which were manufactured at the wafer-scale.

Silicon Machining: Si Holes

Microbritt has found that many customers require holes/vias in silicon which are hard to produce using conventional processes. We have the ability to manufacture deep holes in silicon with excellent edge quality. Seethe 660 micron diameter, 200 micron deep holes, in this image.

Just for Fun: Silicon Pyramid

Just for fun to showcase our capabilities at Microbitt we manufactured a 400 µm high pyramid machined in silicon, with a 25 µm step size.

Glass Microfluidics: Christmas at Microbritt

Microbritt celebrated its first Christmas in 2021 and we used it as a chance to showcase our ability to manufacture complex microfluidics in glass. The 200 micron wide, 250 micron deep,  channels were machined using our patented process. Just for fun, we ran a luminol solution through the channels to make a Christmas tree.
